President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated Iran’s national women’s volleyball team on winning the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Championship for the second consecutive time.
In a Saturday message, the president commended the team’s strong performance and extended his congratulations to the Iranian nation, the technical staff, coaches, and members of the women’s national volleyball squad.
He described the title as another sign of the determination, ability, and potential of Iranian women in international sports.
President Pezeshkian said the team’s victory showed that the women of Iran, through talent, perseverance, and high morale, are capable of achieving distinction and raising the country’s flag in international arenas. He added that Iranian women continue to demonstrate their capacities not only in sports, but also in scientific and cultural fields.
The president also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the team and its staff, voicing hope for the continued success, pride, and achievements of Iranian women athletes.
