Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has extended congratulations to Nepal on the appointment of Balendra Shah as the new Prime Minister, expressing Tehran’s readiness to broaden comprehensive cooperation with Kathmandu.
In the congratulatory message on Monday, the Iranian president acknowledged the six-decade-long history of friendly relations between Iran and Nepal, characterizing them as consistently based on mutual respect and shared interests.
President Pezeshkian affirmed Iran’s preparedness to enhance bilateral ties across various sectors, including economics, trade, energy, tourism, agriculture, and education.
Wishing success to the new prime minister and progress for the people of Nepal, the Iranian president highlighted the importance of Shah’s executive and political experience.
He also expressed optimism that this experience will play a pivotal role in further strengthening bilateral relations and opening new avenues for collaboration between the two nations.
