Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the Islamic Republic will never leave the people of Lebanon alone, describing the renewed attacks by the Israeli regime on the Arab country as a clear violation of the initial ceasefire announced between Iran and the United States.
In a message posted on his X account on Thursday, President Pezeshkian stated that the latest Israeli aggression on Lebanon demonstrates a dangerous pattern of deception and a lack of commitment to potential agreements.
The Iranian president warned that the continuation of such actions would make Pakistan’s proposed negotiations meaningless and further undermine diplomatic efforts.
Iranians’ hands remain on the trigger, the president wrote, stressing that Iran remains vigilant in the face of continued tensions in the region.
Israeli attacks have killed more than 200 people and injured around 1,000 others, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
