Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said recent remarks by US President Donald Trump about Iran reflect desperation and helplessness in the face of the Iranian nation’s resolve.
In a post on X, President Pezeshkian wrote that the illusion of wiping Iran off the face of the Earth demonstrates an inability to confront a history making nation, adding that threats only strengthen public unity.
He stated that the Strait of Hormuz remains open to all countries except those that commit aggression against Iran.
The Iranian president warned that Iran will respond firmly to reckless statements and threats, saying such remarks will be met with a decisive reaction on the battleground.
