President Masoud Pezeshkian praised the nationwide turnout during the International Quds Day rallies, saying the brilliant and epic presence of the Iranian people drew admiration from around the world and demonstrated national unity and resilience.
In a message addressed to the Iranian nation on Friday, President Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the conscious, courageous, and unifying participation of millions of citizens across the country. He said the demonstrations reflected the Iranian people’s commitment to human, Islamic, and national values and symbolized their determination in the face of threats and aggression.
The president emphasized that his administration remains fully committed to following the guidance of the country’s Leader. As the elected representative of the Iranian people, President Pezeshkian said, he considers it his duty to fully adhere to the leadership’s directives, stressing that his administration will pursue domestic policies and international initiatives in coordination with the leadership.
He added that the message delivered by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei has clarified the path forward for the country during a critical period and will serve as a guiding framework for officials.
While reaffirming support for the country’s armed forces and national defense, the president said the government’s most priority is addressing the needs and livelihoods of the Iranian people.
He called for cooperation and solidarity among all branches of government to effectively manage national challenges and improve public welfare.
