President Masoud Pezeshkian extended condolences to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman over the passing of the country’s Deputy Prime Minister Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said.
In a message addressed to the Omani King, President Pezeshkian expressed sorrow over the loss and described the late official as a distinguished figure who devoted his life to serving the Sultanate of Oman.
The president noted that the deputy PM also showed strong interest in strengthening friendly and brotherly relations between the Iranian and Omani nations.
President Pezeshkian also conveyed his sympathy to the government and people of Oman, and prayed for mercy and forgiveness for the late statesman.
