Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed the need for the international community to condemn criminal aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran in international forums.
President Pezeshkian and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin discussed bilateral cooperation and recent regional developments during a phone call initiated by the Russian president on Tuesday evening.
President Pezeshkian thanked Russia for its supportive stance toward Iran. He pointed to recent attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime on civilian infrastructure and ordinary citizens, stressing the need for the international community to condemn such actions in international forums.
The two presidents exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, and emphasized the importance of continuing consultations and coordination between Tehran and Moscow at the highest levels.
President Putin reiterated Russia’s opposition to military aggression against Iran and announced Moscow’s readiness to provide necessary assistance and support efforts aimed at ending the conflict in the region as soon as possible.
