In a Saturday address to the Iranian nation and regional countries, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that the people’s heroic steadfastness has thwarted enemy plots, asserting that the dream of Iran’s unconditional surrender will be buried with the country’s enemies.
Following renewed condolences for the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and other martyrs, the president praised the public for defending Iran’s historic soil despite existing hardships, stating, this presence has made the enemies despair of their schemes.
President Pezeshkian stressed the need to defend the nation’s land. He confirmed that the armed forces acted honorably in striking US bases as a direct response to the aggression that caused the martyrdoms.
He conveyed a new directive from the Leadership Council that Iran will not attack neighboring countries unless attacked first. Iranians pursue peace and stability in the region through diplomacy, he affirmed, urging regional actors not to become pawns for colonialists and genocide supporters.
The Iranian government, the president said, is fully mobilized and prepared for any wartime conditions. He also warned separatist groups not to become tools of foreign powers.
