Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian on the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
In his message, Putin underscored on Saturday that relations between Russia and Iran are based on friendship and good‑neighborliness, and said Moscow supports Tehran’s efforts to safeguard its sovereignty, legitimate interests and national security amid current international challenges.
The Russian president also expresses confidence that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Moscow and Tehran continues to strengthen through sustained cooperation.
He wished President Pezeshkian good health and success, and conveyed his best wishes for happiness and prosperity to the Iranian nation.
