President Pezeshkian commends Iranians for massive turnout at Feb. 11 rallies

In a message released on Wednesday, President Pezeshkian described the nationwide turnout as a clear sign of national awareness, unity, and resistance in the face of foreign pressure.

He said the presence of millions of Iranians conveyed a powerful message to the world that the nation remains steadfast against domination, sanctions, and destabilizing efforts.

The president noted that over the past year Iran has faced intensified economic sanctions, media and psychological warfare, unrest, and recent regional military tensions aimed at discouraging public participation and weakening national resolve.

He stressed that the people’s presence at the rallies defeated these efforts and reaffirmed commitment to the country’s independence and revolutionary ideals.

Pezeshkian said he humbly bows before the people’s wisdom and sense of responsibility and pledged to remain loyal to the covenant he has made with the nation. He emphasized that unity and collective action would enable Iran to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.

Highlighting the priorities of his National Unity Government, the president reaffirmed his administration’s determination to pursue structural and economic reforms, eliminate corruption, rent-seeking, and discrimination, and respond effectively to public demands.

He concluded by paying tribute to the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and expressing hopes for Iran’s enduring dignity, resilience, and progress on both the domestic and international stage.
