Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev discussed the latest state of bilateral relations and recent regional developments during a phone conversation on Saturday.
The two presidents exchanged views on regional issues and stressed the importance of strengthening friendly and brotherly relations as well as consolidating the shared bonds between the two countries and their peoples.
Referring to the longstanding ties between Tehran and Baku, the presidents underlined the need to expand diplomatic exchanges and enhance cooperation to deepen bilateral relations.
They also emphasized facilitating the implementation of existing agreements through continued dialogue and coordination.
