President Masoud Pezeshkian said the recent unrest in Iran is unsuccessful efforts of the US and the Israeli regime following the 12-day war.

Iran unrest marks continuation of failed US-Israeli plot: President Pezeshkian

In a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday, President Pezeshkian addressed recent domestic disturbances, asserting that the unrest was a continuation of these failed foreign plots. 

He emphasized that the massive, historic turnout by the Iranian people in condemning the trained rioters has once again foiled the enemies’ plots, allowing the Islamic Republic to proceed with greater strength toward its national goals.

During the conversation, the Iranian president reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering internal unity and strengthening ties with neighboring and Islamic countries. He noted that adversaries are escalating pressure to disrupt Iranians’ progress.

The president stressed the importance of regional stability, praising Pakistan’s efforts toward de-escalation. He also expressed confidence that the combined stance of nations like Iraq, Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia would neutralize hostile efforts to undermine regional security.

Prime Minister Sharif affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity, noting Iran’s pivotal role in the region. He expressed confidence that the great Iranian nation, under wise leadership, will overcome current challenges with pride and triumph, reiterating Islamabad’s readiness to assist in regional de-escalation efforts.
