Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized Iran's steadfast support for Venezuela's territorial integrity, condemning any violations against the South American country. 

Iran president advocates for Venezuela's territorial integrity amid US threat

In a phone conversation on Tuesday, President Pezeshkian and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly in light of US provocations against Venezuela. The Iranian president remarked that unity and solidarity are crucial for resisting foreign interventions, and he encouraged Venezuela to continue on its path of dignity and progress.

President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran's experience shows that the failure of US and Israeli objectives against nations stems from national unity and internal solidarity, which empowers the people.

The conversation also touched on the condemnation of US unilateralism and its use of force against nations at a recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting. The two presidents affirmed their readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation in the face of external pressures.

Maduro underscored the remarkable cohesion between the Venezuelan government, its people, and the armed forces, asserting that this unity provides a strong defense against any threats. 

He denounced the US for creating false narratives aimed at undermining Venezuela's image, stating that such claims lack acceptance even among the American public. Maduro highlighted the response of over 8 million Venezuelans to calls for national defense, reflecting the country’s resolute spirit and commitment.

The Venezuelan president noted Caracas’ efforts to stabilize and deepen peace, especially in the Caribbean region. He thanked Iran for its unwavering support, stating that the partnership between the two nations is stronger than ever, serving as motivation for Venezuela to uphold its independence and dignity.
