Iran president emphasizes unity as key to resisting adversaries

In a ceremony marking the beginning of Government Week on Monday morning at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini near Tehran, President Pezeshkian asserted that unity and national cohesion are essential for success and that any actions undermining this unity are unacceptable.

Referring to US-Israeli plots, the president said that the entire effort of the Israeli regime and the United States is to pit us against each other internally and to turn Muslims in the region against one another.

Pezeshkian emphasized that regional neighbors should be regarded as brothers, noting that despite the borders that separate them, their shared land and history remain intact. He pointed out that these borders were imposed by imperialists and called for Muslims to unite against common enemies.

He highlighted that treating the public poorly equates to waging war against God, emphasizing that serving the people and listening to their voices is a collective responsibility.

The president expressed gratitude for the support of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, for the incumbent administration, noting that the Leader's guidance intensifies their commitment to achieving the goals of the Islamic Revolution and following the path set by late Imam Khomeini.

He warned against divisive rhetoric by certain figures that could harm internal cohesion and relationships with neighboring countries, stating that such behavior is a betrayal of their mission. Pezeshkian called for solidarity among Muslims, urging that they must unite against common adversaries. He remarked, "If we have unity, they will not dare to confront Muslims or harbor ill intentions."

Concluding his remarks, the president vowed to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people and to deepen unity and cohesion both domestically and with neighboring Muslim countries. He pledged that efforts to resolve the people's issues would continue without hesitation.
