In a recent decree on Monday, President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Amin Moghavami as the new Head of the Central Council and Iran Construction Engineering Organization (IRCEO).
This appointment is in accordance with Article 22 of the Law on Engineering and Building Control System, ratified by the Iranian Parliament on March 12, 1996.
In his official statement, President Pezeshkian expressed his expectations for Moghavami to operate within the framework of the Constitution.
The president also emphasized the importance of aligning with the goals of Iran’s 20-Year Vision Document, the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the seventh National Development Plan (2023-2027).
President Pezeshkian urged Moghavami to adopt strategic policies and ensure diligent oversight of operations while utilizing all available resources to enhance the technical knowledge and quality of engineering services in the country.
The decree underscores the significant responsibilities entrusted to Moghavami for a term of three years, highlighting the critical role of the IRCEO in advancing the engineering sector in Iran.
