President Masoud Pezeshkian says his administration will make utmost effort to overcome the challenges faced by Iran amid the ongoing aggression by the Zionist regime, emphasizing the need for national unity to stand up to bullying.
“We will do whatever it takes for Iran and to stand up to bullying, and we will resolve the problems. If we all stand together, no power can defeat us,” the president said on Saturday.
He made the comments in a meeting with Health Minister Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi. Heads of several universities of medical sciences from across the country also participated in the meeting virtually, during which Pezeshkian was briefed on the situation of the people injured in Israeli attacks over the past several days.
The meeting was part of a series of meetings the president held with government officials on Saturday and a day earlier to get informed about the latest status of executive affairs at their respected organizations and ministries.
The officials included ministers of science and economy as well as the heads of the Planning and Budget Organization, plus Public Administration and Recruitment Organization.
Pezeshkian expressed gratitude toward the staff members of the above-mentioned ministries and organizations as well as other government bodies for their relentless efforts to continue rendering services to people.
During the meetings, President Pezeshkian instructed senior managers to delegate authority to provincial officials so that they can make decisions and take the required measures in accordance with existing circumstances.
