President Masoud Pezeshkian extended his congratulations to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Russia Day.
In a message issued on Thursday, President Pezeshkian expressed his congratulations, stating that the cooperation between Iran and Russia is on a growing trajectory and has been elevated to a strategic level.
He emphasized his confidence that, with the continuation of this trend, bilateral, regional, and international cooperation between Iran and Russia will expand day by day, benefiting the people of both countries.
Russia Day, celebrated annually on June 12, marks the 1990 adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty by the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
