President Masoud Pezeshkian participated in a ceremony to inaugurate five significant production and infrastructure projects in Ilam Province.
On the second day of his visit to Ilam, President Pezeshkian engaged in discussions with local economic players on Thursday.
These projects are anticipated to create approximately 1,685 job opportunities in the region, boosting the local economy.
The inaugurated projects include the Meymeh Reservoir Dam, where the initiation of water filling aims to supply drinking, agricultural, and industrial water for Dehloran County and surrounding areas with a capacity of 110 million cubic meters; the official opening of the Konjan Cham Dam, a vital water resource; the launch of the Stone Paper Production Factory, dedicated to producing environmentally friendly stone paper; the commencement of operations for the Tropical System, covering 1,500 hectares of land; and the beginning of construction of a 288 MW Solar Power Plant to enhance renewable energy capacity in the province.
Through these initiatives, President Pezeshkian aims to foster sustainable development and improve living standards in the western province.
