President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that today’s world requires constructive relations founded on mutual respect for rights and interests.
During a ceremony to receive the credentials of Vietnam’s Ambassador to Tehran, Nguyen Luong Ngoc, on Tuesday, President Pezeshkian remarked that ambassadors play a vital role in conveying clear messages about the foundations for expanding ties and enhancing the level of relations in the countries where they serve.
The president wished the ambassador success in his mission in Iran and expressed hope for the enhancement of cooperation across economic, trade, scientific, political, and cultural fields. He stated that Iran is ready to share its experiences and achievements with Vietnam.
In response, the Vietnamese ambassador expressed that serving in Iran, a country with an ancient history and noble people, is an honor. He noted that both nations cherish peace and constructive interaction with the world and expressed his hope to strengthen collaboration between the two countries.
