President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed that his administration is dedicated to enhancing infrastructure and resolving issues in Lorestan Province.

Administration committed to infrastructure transformation in Lorestan Province, says President Pezeshkian

In a meeting with the governor general and legislators of Lorestan Province on Monday, President Pezeshkian emphasized the need for a justice-oriented and sustainable development outlook to improve infrastructure and eliminate obstacles.

The president cautioned that development without a clear vision and principled objectives would lead to wasted resources, adding that his administration aims to pave the way for genuine progress in this province.

One of the administration's key strategies focuses on decentralizing resources and credit facilities to promote equitable distribution of opportunities throughout Lorestan.

He underscored the necessity of conserving water resources in the province and called for purposeful investments to facilitate industrial development.

Among the main initiatives of this administration to transform infrastructure in Lorestan are the development of road networks, the completion of railway projects, the sustainable energy procurement through renewable power plants, and the finalization of under-construction dams, Pezeshkian noted.

According to the president, addressing healthcare, education, and livelihood issues in impoverished provinces is a priority on the administration’s agenda to uphold justice.

To follow up on the demands made by the governor general and lawmakers, he contacted the oil and industry ministers to urge them to address the province’s matters.
