President Masoud Pezeshkian has officially appointed Abbasali Motallebi Moghanjoghi as the new head of the Iran Veterinary Organization.

This decision was announced in a decree on Saturday, following a recommendation from Minister of Agriculture Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh. The appointment aligns with the implementation of Article 7 of the law establishing the organization.

Moghanjoghi will serve a four-year term as the Head of the Veterinary Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In his new role, President Pezeshkian has tasked him with ensuring the effective execution of both technical and ethical standards within the veterinary profession across the country.

The president also emphasized the importance of developing and implementing strategic initiatives that leverage the expertise of qualified professionals. Moghanjoghi is also expected to focus on advancing scientific research activities, protecting the professional rights of veterinarians, and achieving the core objectives of the organization.
