The heads of Iran's three branches of government have reaffirmed their commitment to leverage all available resources to fulfill the Persian New Year motto, "Investment for Production," as designated by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Heads of branches of Iran government vow cooperation to realize New Year’s motto

In a meeting held on Saturday, President Pezeshkian emphasized the consensus among the heads of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches on the importance of creating an environment conducive to attracting investments and encouraging public participation.

The president expressed optimism that, with effective coordination among the three branches and adherence to the policies outlined by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran would successfully navigate its challenges.

He noted that fostering unity and a shared vision based on the Supreme Leader's directives would facilitate the implementation of proposed initiatives.

Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Eje’i expressed hope that enhanced collaboration among government branches and increased public involvement would contribute to improving the economic landscape and the livelihoods of citizens.

He stressed the judicial system's vital role in establishing laws that ensure investment security and called for facilitating significant public investment in production.

Mohseni Eje’i further emphasized the necessity of setting clear priorities in key sectors such as agriculture and industry. By aligning government planning with the participation of other branches, resources and facilities can be allocated effectively, ensuring transparency for both the public and executive bodies, he argued.

Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf highlighted the interconnected nature of the economy, asserting that investment should not be viewed in isolation. He underscored the importance of securing investments for those who generate wealth and drive production, urging the government to address challenges faced by these individuals and eliminate barriers to their success.

Furthermore, Qalibaf advocated for supporting the private sector, urging a focus on the people's economy and the empowerment of private enterprises. He called for the lifting of anti-Iran sanctions and emphasized the potential of leveraging domestic investors, as even small assets can create significant opportunities for attracting investments that could bolster large-scale projects in energy, mining, and transportation.
