Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian participated in the inauguration ceremony of Direct Reduction Plant No. 2 at Sirjan Jahan Steel Company (SJSCO).
The Direct Reduction Plant No. 2 at Sirjan Jahan Steel Company was officially inaugurated on Saturday in the presence of the president during his visit to the city of Sirjan, Kerman Province.
This plant has been specifically designed and constructed to meet the domestic demand for sponge iron and to facilitate the export of products within the steel chain, with a capacity of 1.05 million tons per year.
During his one-day trip to Sirjan, President Pezeshkian is scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremonies for four development projects.
