President hopes new projects will accelerate progress in Sirjan

In a televised interview with local TV on Saturday, President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that he visits Sirjan to participate in the inauguration ceremonies for four key projects.

Today’s inaugurated projects have been completed with substantial investments, the president said. He also expressed hope that their implementation will enhance job opportunities, increase production levels and pave the way for both economic and social progress in Sirjan and across Kerman Province.

During this visit, Pezeshkian explored different areas of the Gohar Park Tourist Village, including the Monument of the Sacred Defense, which commemorates the sacrifices made by Iranians during the 1980-1988 war imposed by the Iraqi Ba’athist regime on Iran.

He further extended his condolences to the families of victims and people of Kerman Province following a tragic incident on Thursday, when a bus carrying schoolgirls overturned en-route to Kerman, leaving six dead and 27 injured.
