President Masoud Pezeshkian toured the under-construction town of Tis, some 10 kilometers northwest of Chabahar City, in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan-and-Baluchestan.
The president toured the town in the Konarak district on Friday, the second day of his trip to Sistan-and-Baluchestan. The trip is the second by the president to the southeastern province in less than two months.
The residential and tourism town of Tis is being developed over an area of approximately 4,300 hectares, with a design aimed at accommodating 150,000 residents. This development project incorporates modern approaches and high service standards, and is being implemented with the cooperation of the private sector.
This visit marks the final leg of the president’s trip to the south of Sistan and Baluchestan Province before proceeding to the city of Zabol.
