Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani discussed bilateral cooperation between their countries, with both emphasizing the need for sharing capacities in order to strengthen economic interactions.
Pezeshkian and Al Sudani held bilateral talks on Wednesday in Tehran immediately after the Iraqi prime minister arrived in the Iranian capital on an official visit.
In addition to Tehran-Baghdad relations, the two discussed developments in the West Asia region and other parts of the world as well.
Al Sudani’s trip to Tehran comes nearly three months after President Pezeshkian traveled to Iraq on his first foreign visit since taking office in late July.
