The Iranian president on Tuesday signed into the appointment decrees of the new governor generals of Hormozgan and Qazvin provinces. President Masoud Pezeshkian officially appointed Mohammad Ashouri Taziani and Mohammad Nozari as the governor generals of Hormozgan and Qazvin provinces respectively. The two top provincial officials had been proposed by Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and were already approved by the cabinet ministers to take the job. The president urged the two officials to optimally use all the capacities of their provinces and employ the committed and skilled youth in order to create conditions for production leaps, job growth, attract investment, expand economic infrastructure, and enhance order and security.
