President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Farzaneh Ansari as Head of Iran National Standards Organization (INSO) for a four-year period.
The president appointed Ansari in a decree on Tuesday, saying that her appointment is due to her qualifications and valuable experiences, and in accordance with Article 36 of the Law for Development of Standard System, which was approved on October 3, 2017.
Pezeshkian called on Ansari to work within the framework of the Constitution, pursue the goals of the National Vision Document, the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the Seventh Development Plan.
The president also asked the new INSO chief to implement strategic policies and oversee the execution of laws with the aim of updating, strengthening, and developing the standardization system to improve the quality of Iranian products.
