Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian, who is in New York to attend the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, has said that he is conveying the message of peace and security from the Islamic Republic to the whole world.
President Pezeshkian made the remark upon arrival in New York early on Monday (September 23).
“We are conveying from the Islamic Republic of Iran the message of peace and security as well as efforts to realize this year's theme ‘Cultivating a Culture of Peace’ accompanied by security and development for all people”, the Iranian president told reporters, elaborating on the goals of his trip.
"We carry this message that instead of bloodshed, war, and killing, we must create a world where all human beings can live comfortably, regardless of color, race, ethnicity, or the region they are in”, he further said, adding that today’s world unfortunately is not like this, where there are double standards leading to the existing problems.
Pezeshkian noted that all human beings should have equal opportunities to live on this plant.
