Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Zahedan, the capital city of Sistan-and-Baluchestan Province, for a daylong visit.
President Pezeshkian was welcomed in Zahedan on Thursday morning by the city’s Friday prayer leader and representative of the Supreme Leader, as well as several provincial officials.
This is the first destination of the provincial trips by Pezeshkian’s National Unity Government, where the president and his entourage obtain first-hand information on issues faced by Sistan-and-Baluchestan Province located in southeast Iran.
During this visit, the president will tour the Science and Technology Park of Zahedan University. He will also hold separate meetings with economic players, influential figures, intellectuals, and elites of Sistan-and-Baluchestan, as well as political, social, and cultural activists there.
Pezeshkian will also chair a meeting on planning and development for the province. At the end of trip, he will talk to people on TV about his provincial visit.
