Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Mehdi Sanaei as his political advisor while retaining him as deputy for political affairs at the president's office. Pezeshkian appointed Sanaei to the new position in a decree he issued on Sunday. Citing his qualifications and past experiences, the president called on Sanaei to make outmost effort to help achieve the goals set by the government through working within the framework of the Constitution, objectives of the National Vision Plan as well as general policies approved by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
