President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Gholamreza Amirkhani as head of National Library and Archives of Iran.
In a decree on Saturday, the president appointed Amirkhani to the post, citing his commitment and precious experiences in the past.
Pezeshkian called on Amirkhani to pursue goals of National Library and Archives Organization by adhering to the Constitution and objectives of the National Vision Document as well as general policies declared by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The president wished Amirkhani increasing success in his new job.
