Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian’s cabinet has appointed the governor generals of Tehran, Qom, Khuzestan, and Lorestan provinces.
In a Sunday afternoon cabinet meeting, chaired by President Pezeshkian, the proposed governors of Tehran, Qom, Khuzestan, and Lorestan provinces were approved by the cabinet members.
They had been proposed by Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni.
Following the approval of the cabinet members, Mohammad-Sadegh Motamedian, Akbar Bahram-Joo, Mohammad-Reza Mawalizadeh and Saeed Shahrokhi were appointed as the governor generals of Tehran, Qom, Khuzestan, and Lorestan provinces respectively.
