Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Abdulkarim Hosseinzadeh as Vice President for Rural Development and Deprived Areas.
In a decree on Saturday (November 2), President Pezeshkian appointed Abdulkarim Hosseinzadeh to the post, and asked him to pursue and supervise efforts aimed at improving the living conditions of villagers and promoting rural development indicators, with a focus on villagers’ role in realizing the objectives of the resilient economy strategies.
Pezeshkian emphasized that he expects Hosseinzadeh to act within the framework of the Constitution, the objectives of the 20-year Vision Document, the general policies announced by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Seventh National Development Plan, and to adhere to the ethical charter of the incumbent government.
Pezeshkian also urged his new vice president to pursue his duties in cooperation with executive bodies and in line with job descriptions envisioned for the vice presidency.
