President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian issued a decree on Tuesday to appoint Gholamreza Jalali Farahani as his special aide for passive defense affairs.

President Pezeshkian ordered Jalali Farahani to pursue an active and constructive approach to enhancing synergy among executive bodies in order to promote the culture of passive defense in the Islamic country.

In his decree, the president asked Jalali Farahani to act within the framework of the Iranian Constitution, the objectives of the 20-Year National Vision of the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader, the Seventh Development National Plan, and in adherence to the ethical charter of the 14th government in order to strengthen the culture of passive defense.

Jalali Farahani is also the head of the National Passive Defense Organization.
