The president appointed Dr Mohammad Jafar Qaempanah to the position of Vice President for Executive Affairs and Chief of Staff due to his merit and valuable managerial experience, academic and executive records.
Dr Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Dr Mohammad Jafar Qaempanah to the position of Vice President for Executive Affairs and Chief of Staff, stating, "It is expected that with the coordination of the president's office and the interaction with the ministers and vice presidents, relying on God Almighty and within the framework of the vision document, the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader and the program law, and in compliance with the moral charter of the officials of the 14th government, you try diligently in achieving the goals of the government".
Dr Pezeshkian's letter of appointment reads:

Dear Dr Mohammad Jafar Qaempanah,
Based on the 124th article of the constitution and according to your level of competence and valuable managerial experience, academic and executive records, I appoint your Excellency to the position of "Vice President for Executive Affairs and Chief of Staff".
It is expected that with the coordination of the president's office and the interaction with the ministers and vice presidents, relying on God Almighty and within the framework of the vision document, the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader and the program law, and in compliance with the moral charter of the officials of the 14th government, you try diligently in achieving the goals of the government. It is obvious that all executive bodies of the country and government officials will have the necessary cooperation with you.
