In the swearing-in ceremony, the president took oath to be the guardian of the official religion and system of the Islamic Republic and the country's constitution, and to devote himself to serving the people and elevation of the country, promoting religion and morality, and supporting the right and spreading justice.
Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, this Tuesday evening, according to Article 121 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by attending the Islamic Consultative Assembly and in a ceremony where the heads of branches, members of the Guardian Council, senior national and military officials, and heads and representatives of more than 70 countries in the world, read aloud and signed the text of the presidential oath.
