In a letter of appointment, the President appointed Dr Mohammad Reza Aref to the position of First Vice-President
Dr Masoud Pezeshkian appointed Dr Mohammad Reza Aref to the position of the First Vice-President of the 14th government and stated, “Our common covenant is the vision document, general policies and the seventh plan, which must be put on the agenda with all our strength and get everyone’s participation and cooperation and use all capacities”.
The president’s letter of appointment is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Dear Mr Mohammad Reza Aref
Based on Article 124 of the Constitution and taking into account your merit, valuable managerial and executive experience, I hereby appoint you to the position of “First Vice President”.
Our common covenant is the vision document, general policies and the seventh plan, which should be put on the agenda with all the strength and participation and cooperation of all and the use of all capacities.
Management of meetings of the Council of Ministers, establishment of coordination between ministers and executive authorities, notification of the resolutions of the Council of Government, and follow-up of the implementation of the results in assigned matters based on the joint covenant and the code of ethics of the 14th government officials are expected.
