Acting President said, “The government and the people are grateful for the efforts and hard work of the martyrs, and among these martyrs was our hard-working foreign minister, martyr Amirabdollahian, who, during his service, had an unparalleled effect in strengthening our country's relations with its neighbours, regional stability, and the expansion of the resistance front's power and disgrace of the child-killing Zionist regime”.
On Monday evening, Dr Mohammad Mokhber, while visiting the home of martyr Amirabdollahian’s family, congratulated and condoled the martyrdom of the late foreign minister and said, “Although these martyrs are not among us today, their martyrdom was an eternal honour, which was due to the efforts of these loved ones, and for this reason, they should be envied”.
The Acting President described martyr Amirabdollahian as a revolutionary diplomat who, during nearly a thousand days of his tenure at the foreign policy apparatus, with a field-oriented and revolutionary approach, not only tried to strengthen Iran's relations with the countries of the East and West of the world, but also managed to give stability to the region and was praised by many politicians of the region and the world”.
Dr Mokhber added, “In recent months, when the world was watching the crimes of child-killing Zionists, Martyr Amirabdollahian created a regional and international consensus against the occupying regime with his round-the-clock efforts, which was a strong axe against the roots of the usurpers of al-Quds”.
Dr Mokhber also emphasised on the distinguished role of Martyr Amirabdollahian in the government, and described his character traits as professionalism in work, humility, foresight and moment-to-moment attention to the orders of the leader of the Muslims of the world.
