Referring to the decision to determine the status of Nowshahr industrial town, the President said, “Due to environmental conflicts, people have been waiting for the final decision on this industrial town for decades, but with God’s help, this lock was opened and, God willing, there are many workshops and production units will be active in this town and at least a thousand new job opportunities will be created”.
Speaking before noon on Friday, in continuation of the plans of the second visit of the Popular Administration to Mazandaran province, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi attended the magnificent gathering of the people of Nowshahr, and said, “The culture and identity of the people of the province with 10,400 martyrs and veterans is the proof of the identity of the Iranian nation and proof of their selflessness in defending the country, religion and divine values and the Islamic Revolution”.
The President also described the history of Mazandaran province and Nowshahr city as a proof of the standing and insight of the revolutionary people of this region and added, “You have always supported the Islamic Republic system and values”.
Referring to the airport and port facilities of Nowshahr city, Dr Raisi said, “Imports and exports are carried out in Nowshahr port, and the government's plan is to develop this port to expand exports and imports. Also, as the government allocated 3 trillion tomans for the development of roads in Mazandaran province in its first visit”.

Saying that Mazandaran province and Nowshahr city are agricultural hubs and can be industrial hubs as well, Dr Raisi pointed out that sea-based economy policies and marine economy in this region should be activated more than in the past.
Referring to the slogan of the year, the President said, “The government is not only ready to attract people's participation in order to increase production, but also believes that this should be done. In the session to follow up on the special issues of the province, one of the most important topics was how to attract people's participation for a surge in production”.
Dr Raisi added, “The tourism economy of the region should not be limited to the green space, and the tourism capacities of the region should be fully activated so that we do not have even one unemployed person in these provinces, and this can be achieved with the participation of the people themselves”.
Referring to the establishment of the Mazandaran governor general's office in the west of the province in order to create justice in the distribution of facilities and capacities, the President stated, “Justice in the distribution of facilities and capacities is one of the main and basic policies of the government”.
Dr Raisi also emphasised the creation of gender justice and stating that women in Mazandaran province play an important role in various economic fields, and clarified, “The Popular Administration also believes that we should give more opportunities to the youth, and we have seen from experience that wherever we have trusted the youth, they have performed well, and of course, the veterans should be their usher”.
The President further talked about the problem of waste disposal in the province and its consequences, saying, “I emphasised in the meeting of the administrative council of the province that the problem of the province and the people's concern about it should be resolved immediately, and I urge the governor general and the governor, whether in Sari or in Nowshahr, to follow the issue of waste incinerators”.
While appreciating the hospitality and warm welcome of the people, Dr Raisi added, “People should know that their concern is our concern and your pain and happiness is our pain and happiness”.
Stating that you people's standing and declaring your position is a great support for all the oppressed people of the world, including the people of Gaza and Palestine, the President expressed hope that with the blessing of this uprising and the prayers of the people of Palestine, the Palestinian resistance will lead to the liberation of Palestine and the destruction of the Zionist regime as soon as possible.
