The President called defending people, homeland and values of the Islamic Revolution one of the characteristics of the country's armed forces and noted, "Today, not only us, but the people of the region and the world are aware of the authority of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran; The people of the world saw that after the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, "True Promise" collapsed the Zionist regime's false hegemony".
Speaking on Wednesday morning in the ceremony to celebrate the day of the "Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran", while congratulating the occasion, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi described the army as a force that relies on the capital of faith in God and trust in the eternal power of God, and on the other hand, it is skilled and trained and has the most up-to-date military information, technologies and innovations, and stated, "The equipment that had to be maintained and updated by the experts of other countries before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, is managed by our own armed forces today, and this has made the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran privileged".
The President stated that the technical, industrial and military independence of the country's armed forces has been achieved thanks to the efforts of the country's dear youth in the army and the IRGC, adding, "The production of advanced fighters in the air force, surface and subsurface vessels in the navy, tanks and armoured vehicles in the ground force and the construction of intelligent systems in the army and the IRGC have made the Islamic Republic of Iran a superior power not only in the region but also in the world".
Pointing out that the capabilities and power of our armed forces are not adoptive, but native, Dr Raisi stated, "Today, the defence base of our skilful, equipped and up-to-date army and IRGC is the support of authority for the country and beyond for the region. Today, the countries of the region can also rely on our powerful armed forces in Islamic Iran".
The President listed the cohesion between the four forces of the army, the cohesion between the army and the IRGC, the cohesion between the army, the IRGC, police and the popular mobilisation forces and the cohesion between the country's armed forces and the general public throughout the Islamic homeland as other important features of the country's armed forces and said, "Being from the people and being with the people and being sympathetic with the people's are the most important characteristics of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran".

The President added, "Our IRGC and army forces punished the Zionist regime in a rational, wise, calculated and precise action according to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and created authority and honour, and today the world and the leaders of different countries recognise this authority".
Stating that the operation of the Islamic Republic of Iran to punish the Zionist regime, Dr Raisi said, "This action was a declaration to the whole world and the so-called well-equipped powers of the world, especially the Americans and other supporters of the Zionist regime, that the great nation of Iran is a ready nation and our armed forces are skilful, equipped, faithful, powerful, ready and waiting for the command of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to act".
The President added, "Operation True Promise was a limited and not comprehensive and extensive operation. If this operation was supposed to be comprehensive and extensive, then the supporters of the Zionist regime would have seen that there would be nothing left of the Zionist regime, but it was supposed that this operation first, be a limited action, and secondly, be for the purpose of punishment, and thirdly, it should target the same centres from where actions were taken against the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran".
Dr Raisi emphasised that the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran have repeatedly announced that the slightest attack by the Zionist regime on Iran's territory or interests will be met with a strong and fierce response, and stated, "That is the time when the supporters of the Zionist regime will find out that their hidden power will not be able to do anything".
Dr Raisi stated that if today in the literature of the domination system, military options have been removed from the table, it is because of the authority and dignity of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and clarified, "The recent defeat of the Zionist regime from the axis of resistance in the region in addition to the military, intelligence and security defeat, has been a strategic failure, because the process of normalising relations with this fake regime that was spreading among Islamic countries failed completely, and those countries that sought to normalise relations with this cruel and criminal regime, are ashamed before their nations today".
The President stated that today the support for the noble cause of Quds and the oppressed people of Palestine by carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran has become a global discourse, and added, "In this year's Quds Day protests, we witnessed that all the free nations of the world took to the streets together with the Iranian nation".
Dr Raisi stated, "Today, the hatred towards America and the Zionist regime in the world is more than ever before, and the support for the resistance against the oppression of the regime has increased to the same extent, and this means the victory of the discourse of the Islamic resistance movement, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation as the flag bearer of standing against the domination system".
In another part of his speech at the ceremony of the Army Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President emphasised that there is no need for the presence of foreign forces to ensure the security of the region and addressed the countries of the region, "The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are security-building, peace-making, and reliable forces that are trusted, and are a source of pride for the Islamic Ummah. Instead of communicating with the criminal Zionist regime and gambling on a losing horse, rely on your possessions and the powerful Muslim forces, and know that communication with this criminal and at the same time shaky and weak regime will not create security".
Dr Raisi also addressed the great nation of Iran and said, "Know that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the army, IRGC, Basij and other forces, under the wise command of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, work day and night for the independence, authority and security of the country as well as the water, soil, air and sea of our beloved homeland are trying and standing against every threat with strength and authority".
The President stated that those who until yesterday thought of violating the holy land of the Islamic Republic of Iran, have realised today that in case of the slightest mistake, they will receive a regrettable blow, adding, "The Popular Administration considers it its duty to support the armed forces in the Ministry of Defence".
Dr Raisi stated, "The cooperation and coordination of the government with the armed forces is at a very good level and its very beautiful effects can be seen in various parts of the country in the way of providing services to the people, and it will definitely be effective and play a role in solving their problems".
