In a message, while congratulating the beginning of the solar hijri year 1403 to the leaders and people of the countries of the Nowruz civilisation, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stated, “Nowruz, this ancient ritual rooted in rich culture and thousands of years of civilisation of the people of this ancient region, is a precious heritage and a sign of the virtue and culture of the ancestors who lived in the Nowruz civilisation.
Stating that the message of Nowruz is a message of peace and peaceful coexistence and a symbol of unity and reconciliation, the President stated, “This year, we, the countries of the Nowruz civilisation, are celebrating this auspicious occasion while the oppressed and powerful people of Gaza continue to face the brutal attacks of the usurping Zionist regime and in addition to being under complete siege, they are deprived of access to basic health and livelihood facilities and are exposed to the risk of hunger and famine”.
Dr Raisi emphasised, “It is our human duty to use our capabilities to take serious practical steps to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime and send humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Gaza”.
