The last meeting of the cabinet in the year 1402 was held on Sunday afternoon under the chairmanship of Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, during which the ministers of economic affairs and finance, industry, mines and trade, and the heads of the central bank and the plan and budget organisation gave detailed reports of actions and achievements during the last year.

While expressing his satisfaction with the statistics related to the growth of the country's production and trade and the prevalence of statistics of raw materials compared to final products in imports, Dr Raisi expressed his satisfaction with the efforts to continue this trend and also the necessity of explaining these measures to the elites as well as the general public.
Referring to the report of the Minister of Energy about the high and low rainfall expected for the southwestern provinces of the country in the coming days, the President urged all officials and institutions to take the necessary preventive measures, especially in accordance with the Nowruz trips of the people.
In another part of his speech, Dr Raisi expressed regret and deep concern about the current situation of the Palestinians in Gaza, the inaction of international organisations in the face of the unprecedented crimes of the Zionists against the oppressed, innocent and defenceless but powerful people of Gaza, as well as the inaction of some Islamic countries in cutting off economic and political relations with the Zionist regime as an effective and deterrent factor in stopping this crime and said, "Palestinians and other oppressed people of the world will never forget this inaction".
At the end of this meeting, the President appreciated the efforts and services of all members of the government and their colleagues who serve the people in the name of the Islamic system throughout the country, and while congratulating them and all the people of Iran on the arrival of the new year in advance, wished a year full of success and victory for the nation of Iran".
