The ceremony of handing over 10094 residential units of the armed forces and signing the executive instructions of Article 25 of the Housing Production Leap Law between the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics was held in the presence of the President.
Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi attended the 15th meeting of the Supreme Housing Council on Saturday morning in the ceremony of handing over 10094 residential units to the armed forces, as well as the signing of the executive order of Article 25 of the Housing Production Leap Law between the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics.
According to the planning, the armed forces have committed to build 500 thousand residential units with the help of the government in the form of the national housing movement. According to the statistics provided, the construction of about 230,000 of these units has been started and is in various stages of construction, from the handing over of land to the final stages of construction.
In today's ceremony, 10094 units of the built residential units were handed over to the owners and the construction of 14 thousand new residential units was officially started.
In this ceremony, the President stated that the armed forces are one of the elements and the manifestation of the authority of the country and the system, and said, "Although the equipment is also very important in the armed forces, the most central element in the power and authority of this department is the human force".
Dr Raisi added, "Considering the high share of housing in the household budget, providing housing for human forces in different parts of the armed forces helps to promote and strengthen their peace and motivation to serve".
The President described the understanding signed today between the Ministers of Roads and Urban Development and Defence and Armed Forces Logistics as very useful and called for the continuation of the jihadi efforts of all those involved in the construction of housing in the armed forces and other sectors for the completion of the national housing movement.
