The President stated that the families of martyrs are the hoisted flags of sacrifice and martyrdom in every place, which should always be hoisted, and emphasised that the presence of the families of martyrs and veterans in different areas of the society will prevent many harms, therefore they should be supported.
Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi went to Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation this Saturday morning in the 19th destination of the headquarters for supervision meetings and after visiting the exhibition of the performance and achievements of this organisation, was briefed about the performance quality of the "Operational Plan Monitoring" system and the system of "Electronic Service Desk" of this foundation.
Referring to his visit to the exhibition, the President expressed gratitude to all those who have worked in this foundation in the current and previous periods to provide service to the martyrs.
The President descried the first step in the transformational approach in the field of performance to be the assessment of the level of achievement of the goals that the legislator, at the head of them, the general policies of the system, the guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and the higher-level documents and added, "In the main goals and responsibilities of the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation, what is emphasised more than service is cultural issues".
Dr Raisi clarified, "Providing services is a prelude to the realisation of the main goal, which is to promote the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom, and the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation should form think tanks and prepare the necessary missions to promote the culture of sacrifice, jihad and martyrdom by using the capacity of various institutions".
Emphasising on the use of appropriate methods of providing services to the target community of martyrs, the President added, "The quality of providing these services should not cause a feeling of injustice to the families of martyrs and veterans".
Dr Raisi said, "Among other very important issues in relation to the families of martyrs and veterans and especially the children of martyrs, the issue is housing and employment that should be given special attention".

Dr Raisi also emphasised the necessity of maintaining the economic and financial health of the Martyrs Foundation and said, "Try to direct the economic activities of the Martyrs Foundation from a corporation to a shareholder as much as possible".
Dr Raisi further advised all managers and officials of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation to take the lead and raise the threshold of tolerance in the face of possible complaints from the families of martyrs and veterans and to be tolerant towards them.
