At the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, the President headed to Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation.
Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi left Tehran for Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, before noon this Wednesday, seen off by First Vice President Dr Mohammad Mokhber, and Deputy of Supreme Leader's Office for International Affairs Hojatoleslam val-Moslemin Mohsen Qomi.
During this trip, the President will have a private meeting with Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Ak Saray Palace after the official welcoming ceremony, and then the 8th meeting of the Supreme Council of Iran-Türkiye Cooperation will be held under the chairmanship of the two Presidents.
After attending the signing ceremony of the cooperation documents of the two countries, the Presidents will explain the results of their consultations in a joint press conference.
Also, during this trip, the two Presidents will attend the joint meeting of businesspeople and economic actors of Iran and Türkiye, and Dr Raisi will also meet and talk with Iranians living in this country.
