Emphasising that supporting the freedom of the Holy Quds and defending the oppressed, yet powerful people of Palestine is the definitive policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has always been announced loudly and without any stuttering, the President stated, "Occupation, even if it lasts for 75 years, does not create legitimacy and ownership rights for the occupier".
Speaking on Saturday afternoon at the "Tehran International Conference on Palestine", Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi thanked the representatives of different countries for their empathy and consensus regarding the most important concern of the Islamic world and the entire world of humanity, saying, "Today all the eyes of awakened and conscientious people all over the world are on the Palestinian issue and the violation of all human rights in Gaza by the domination system, which has no regard for ethics, law and humanity in the way of exercising its domination".
Emphasising that this practice should make everyone think, the President added, "The widespread killing of women and children and the destruction of people's homes and houses is a deep regret, but even more so is the unquestionable support of countries that claim human rights, such as the United States and some western countries are among these crimes. It is even more unfortunate is the ineffectiveness of all the international organisations, who claim human rights, towards what is happening in Gaza".
Dr Raisi stated that today everyone is a witness that the product of today's unjust world order is the horrific war crimes and the massacre of women and children in Gaza, and stated, "Humanity must think to shape a new world order, and these kinds of intellectual meetings must be held for shaping a new world order, cooperate and make serious efforts".
The President described the analysis of the Palestinian issue from the beginning of October 7 as completely incomplete and incorrect and stated, "The Palestinian issue should be analysed from the date when the British occupied this land and killed and displaced the Palestinians until today, when 75 years of continuous killing, crime and assassination have taken place in this land by the Zionists".
Dr Raisi said, "Zionists have only killed more than 200 people in the West Bank in recent months, while the people in this region are not armed, contrary to the claim and excuse of the Zionist regime for attacking Gaza. In Gaza, not a day passed without people witnessing destruction, aggression, torture and killing by the Zionist regime".
The President pointed out, "If we want to introduce the cause of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, we must say that the cause of this operation is the terrible crimes of the Zionist regime for 75 years for which the Palestinian people are fed up. Under no legal principle the continuation of the occupation legitimise the occupation and gives the occupier the right to property, but the solution to end the occupation is expulsion, punishment and forcing the occupier to pay damages".
The President stated, "Since its establishment, the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced the issue of Palestine and the freedom of Holy Quds as the most important issue of the Islamic world according to the declaration of Imam Khomeini (RA)".
Dr Raisi emphasised, "The Americans tried many times to resolve the Palestinian issue behind the negotiation tables, but the Zionist regime violated the agreements such as Oslo, Camp David and Sharm el-Sheikh, which it had committed to".
The President stated, "The Zionist regime has not been faithful to any contract, pact and covenant and has ignored more than 400 statements and resolutions issued against this regime".
Referring to the absurd and fruitless actions of the Zionist regime and its supporters to cover up the crimes against the Palestinian nation, including the peace agreements and the normalisation process, the President clarified, "Today, all nations have become aware and realised that the only solution to this issue is the realisation of the rights of the Palestinian nation".
Dr Raisi stated that in the recent events in Gaza, the hands of the United States and some Western countries have turned as supporters and founders of crimes against the oppressed Palestinian women and children, and stated, "Today, the biggest crimes are registered in the name of Americans".
The President also emphasised, "In no way can a party that is itself the perpetrator and accomplice of a crime be a party to peace, and the United States and the Zionist regime must be accused of genocide and crimes against humanity in international courts".
Dr Raisi stated that the events in Gaza removed the mask from the face of hypocrisy and made the war-mongering nature of America more obvious to the world.
Stating that the pure blood of the martyrs of Gaza has created a deep enlightenment and awakening in the whole world, the President clarified, "A place called the United Nations Security Council, which is responsible for establishing peace and security in the world, in recent events has officially become despondent, incompetent and ineffective".
Emphasising the immediate cessation of attacks, the lifting of the siege and the beginning of relief and the creation of a fund to help rebuild Gaza, the President said, "Many times in meetings, negotiations and conversations with the heads of countries, I have emphasised how those who believe in God, human conscience or history want to answer for their silence today!"
The President further pointed to the initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to resolve the Palestinian issue with a democratic solution by referring to the votes of the Palestinians and said, "We believe that the just solution to the Palestinian issue is to refer to the general votes of the Palestinian people, including Muslims, Christians and Jews".
Dr Raisi stated that the Americans are the first and biggest violators of democracy in the world with the claim of democracy, and emphasised, "Americans should not plan for the future of Gaza, because the future of this region will be determined by the people and its legal government".
The President expressed his hope that the voices of oppression and the cries of the people of Gaza will cause more awakening and awareness in the world and that the nations will taste the sweetness of justice by ending the current unjust order and creating a new order based on justice.
