Stating that the Shahriar region has grown a lot in the past years, the President said, "In addition to revising the country's divisions, as per the demographic changes in this region, measures should also be taken to improve the various facilities it needs, including in the transportation and education sectors".
Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, during his trip to Shahriar city, congratulated the blessed birthday of H.H. Zainab (PBUH), during his trip to Shahriar city, and stated, "During this trip, the waiting of the people of this region, who have been waiting for more than 30 years to use a specialised hospital, has ended with the inauguration of Imam Khomeini (RA) medical centre".
Referring to the efforts of the Popular Administration to complete the half-finished projects in the country, the President added, "I was lucky in 1980 that I had a responsibility in the city of Karaj at that time, and therefore I was familiar with with Shahriar and Robat Karim and Andisheh, which was being established at that time. But today these areas are very developed and changed compared to that time".

Also, referring to the importance of traffic and transportation in this region, both in the internal parts and in terms of connection with other regions of the province and the country, the President said, "The development of railway and metro lines to the Shahriar region is also one of the necessities that the municipalities have followed and the government also supports their efforts in this field".
Dr Raisi further pointed out the importance of education and cultural issues in Shahriar city and the western regions of Tehran province, especially with regard to the large migration to this region and noted, "The people of these regions are people fond of the revolution, interested in values and adhering to Islamic culture".
The President said, "Before coming to this trip, my colleagues examined the issues of the province and came to the conclusion that the educational and cultural facilities and infrastructure of this region should be developed in accordance with the demographic and geographical requirements of this region and the cultural and educational status of this region should be improved".
The President said, "My request is to all colleagues in the administrative and executive bodies to pay attention and follow up the issues and problems of people away from any unhealthy and unfair processes in such a way that people feel that their servants in the administrative and executive bodies are really looking to solve their problems".
Dr Raisi emphasised, "My colleagues in the public relations department of the government will carefully examine the letters received from the people and follow up on their requests".
In another part of his speech to the people of Shahriar, the President attributed the country's security today to the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans and said, "What the Palestinian people are suffering from today has exposed all of us to the divine test in how to support them".
Criticising the silence of the international community regarding the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, Dr Raisi said, "Today, the people of the world, in addition to hating the Zionist regime and the United States, also feel despair and inefficiency towards all international mechanisms and are looking for a just world order, and we are sure that with the will of the nations and the pure blood of all oppressed Palestinian children, a just global system will be formed in the world".
The President stated that the people of Gaza today are teaching the nations of the world to stand and resist as well as to hate the enemies of humanity, and clarified, "The blood of the oppressed Palestinian children will undoubtedly pave the way for the hand of God's vengeance to come out and to end the rule of the oppressors and pharaohs of the time".
