6 projects in the field of water supply and 9 projects in the field of development and strengthening of the electricity network of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, with an investment value of over 27 trillion tomans, were officially opened and put into operation in the presence of the President.
In the first part of the programs of the ninth destination of the second round of provincial trips of the Popular Administration, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi inaugurated the huge plan for the provision of sanitary drinking water in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, including the water intake of Ghadir Baba Heydar Dam and the water transmission and distribution network of this dam.
The percentage of physical progress of Ghadir Baba Heydar dam at the beginning of the Popular Administration was 60% and the drinking water supply plan for Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari was 30%, which due to the importance of the project in order to resolve water tensions and the plan of the Popular Administration to complete the half-finished projects, it was prioritised.
Also, with the opening of the water transfer and distribution projects of Ghadir Baba Heydar Dam, water supply to 117 villages in the province, improvement of the urban water supply system and sustainable services to subscribers, and the construction of a sewage treatment plant will be resolved after 16 years.
9 plans to develop and strengthen the electricity distribution network were also opened simultaneously and in the form of video conference in different regions of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
