The President stated that the implementation of water supply projects in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province could not be solved except with the jihadi work, motivation and sincerity of the managers, and said, “70% of the water supply projects in this province are related to the period of the Popular Administration, and the most credits were drawn during this period”.
Speaking on Thursday morning during the inauguration ceremony of 15 water supply and electricity projects in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed satisfaction that a significant part of the government's promises to the people of the province came true in the first round of provincial trips in the water supply sector, emphasising the importance of water resources management. He said, “If we can manage water properly in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, drinking water and industry will be supplied in this province”.
Dr Raisi further stated that the 14-year delay in the operation of "Baba Heydar Dam" caused the cost of its construction to increase 10 times and added, “If the implementation and operation of the Baba Heydar Dam project, which has lasted for 14 years, was done in past years, it would cost 150 billion tomans, but the passage of time caused its cost to increase 10 times”.
Referring to the efforts of the government to resolve the water tension in the villages of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, the President said, “Today the water tension in 117 villages of the province has been resolved and we hope that this number will reach 200 villages”.

Referring to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution's recommendations to create hope in the society, the President considered the work and effort of jihad and day and night very effective in this field and stating that the implementation of water supply projects in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province has increased 13 times before, he stated, “This shows that we can finish projects in a short time and in other cases, we can finish half-finished projects with jihadi actions”.
The President also emphasised, “In addition to the necessity of implementing and operating water supply projects, paying attention to the wastewater problem of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province is also very important, which should be taken into consideration by managers and workers”.
Dr Raisi described the people and nomads of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province as noble, resistant and brave and said, “These people are considered the capital of the country, so we should not leave half-completed projects, whose realisation can make the people happy, undecided”.
The President described the movement to end the half-finished projects as a priority issue for the government and emphasising that continuing the path of providing services to the people requires the assistance of all sectors, he said, “Today, many water supply and electricity supply projects are starting in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, which I hope brings happiness and blessings for everyone”.
